Both options have their place \u2014 and the way you need to get around during the day or week is crucial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A taxi or shared ride makes sense for one-off trips: a ride to the station, an evening out in the city, a short trip without parking. A simple calculation will help: add up your expected trips and their cost and compare them to the daily rental rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When is it worth renting and when is it worth picking up?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Car rental wins wherever you need flexibility: multiple stops per day, trips out of town, a business trip with client meetings, a vacation with luggage, or a period when your own car is in the service.
