Thousands of kilometers on highways to Croatia or Italy will take a toll on your own vehicle, both in terms of wear and tear and its value \u2014 when you rent a car, you set off in a car that is prepared and checked, and you simply hand it over upon your return.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On vacation, you want to worry about where you&#039;re going tomorrow \u2014 not whether your car will make it back. For a couple for a week at the seaside, a compact car with low consumption will suffice. A family with children will appreciate a station wagon or SUV - the trunk fills up faster than expected with children&#039;s things and beach equipment. If you are traveling in more than one group, a larger vehicle will be cheaper per person than two cars.
